UIAMS Chandigarh Sees 87 MBA Students Placed, 9 Secure ₹16.42L Packages

UIAMS, Panjab University, Chandigarh, reports successful campus placements with 87 MBA students securing jobs. Nine students bagged the highest package of ₹16.42 lakh annually.
Panjab University's University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) in Chandigarh has successfully placed 87 MBA students in this year's campus recruitment drive. Highlighting the success, nine students received the highest annual package of ₹16.42 lakh. The placement process saw 26 companies participating, offering roles across banking, finance, IT, marketing, insurance, HR, and consulting. Key recruiters included Federal Bank, Mahindra Finance, Capgemini, Bunge, Tirupati HealthCare, SBI Mutual Funds, HDFC Life, Policy Bazaar, Growwtide, and Vodafone Idea. Federal Bank extended offers to nine students with packages of ₹16.42 lakh each, while Mahindra Finance offered three students roles with a ₹10 lakh annual salary. The average package for all placements was ₹6.84 lakh. Prof Renu Vig, PU Vice-Chancellor, praised the students' academic excellence and industry readiness. Prof Anupreet Kaur Mavi, UIAMS Director, noted the growing confidence of recruiters in the institute. Dr Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training-cum-Placement Officer, emphasized the alignment of classroom learning with industry needs.
