Pune's Krishang Joshi, who secured AIR 3 in NEET UG 2025, shares his inspiring journey, overcoming last year's paper leak concerns, and the secrets behind his success.
Krishang Joshi from Pune has secured the 3rd All India Rank (AIR) in NEET UG 2025. The 17-year-old, who appeared for the exam on June 14, credited his success to conceptual clarity, determination, and staying motivated despite last year's paper leak controversy. Initially, Krishang was unsure about his performance due to the previous year's scandal but found the 2025 paper more challenging and fair. He gradually revised his expectations, aiming for a top 50 rank, then top 10, and finally securing a spot in the top 5. Krishang, who studied at Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) on a full scholarship, followed a rigorous routine. His day began with classes from 9 am, followed by study sessions until late at night, ensuring 6-8 hours of sleep. He emphasized the importance of conceptual understanding over mere memorization, which he believes was a game changer. Krishang aspires to study at AIIMS Delhi, valuing the institution's faculty and focus on holistic growth. Despite the challenges, he remained hopeful and focused on becoming a good doctor.
