PM Modi Embarks on Historic 3-Nation Tour to Cyprus, Canada, and Croatia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to undertake a historic three-nation visit to Cyprus, Canada, and Croatia from June 15 to 19, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs. This tour marks several firsts, enhancing India's diplomatic engagements globally. PM Modi's journey begins in Cyprus on June 15-16, where he will be the first Indian Prime Minister to visit in over 20 years. He will engage in discussions with President Nikos Christodoulides and address business leaders in Limassol, aiming to deepen bilateral ties and strengthen India's connection with the Mediterranean region and the European Union. Next, PM Modi will attend the G-7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada, on June 16-17. This will be his sixth consecutive participation, where he will discuss critical global issues such as energy security, technology, and innovation. Bilateral meetings on the sidelines are also planned. The tour concludes in Croatia on June 18, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister since Croatia's independence in 1991. Meetings with Croatian leaders and an address to the Indian community are scheduled, aiming to bolster ties with Central and Eastern Europe. This visit underscores India's proactive role in global collaboration, addressing challenges and strengthening economic and cultural ties with these nations.
