However, he admitted that he would pay more attention to it as the Pocono race weekend approaches. Blaney also acknowledged NASCAR's efforts to make the sport more exciting through this new challenge. He praised the initiative, noting that it not only adds an extra layer of competition but also encourages drivers to engage more with fans and promote the sport. The 2025 season marks the debut of the In-Season Challenge, with 32 full-time Cup drivers competing for a $1 million prize. The races will be held at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Chicago Street Course, Sonoma Raceway, Dover Motor Speedway, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
